DURING THE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT ON 13.12.2025

First this matter is taken up for Pre-Litigation as per the application of the Petitioner Kuntal Ghosh on the date of 22.09.2025. This matter is taken up for seven (07) hearing consecutively on and from 16.10.2025 to 19.11.2025 by the Ld. Secretary, DLSA, Dakshin Dinajpur. This is a house mortgage loan related matter and the OP Bank was not willing to settle the matter due to the nature of the loan. After day-by-day consultation the OP Bank Manager agreed to settle the matter and this matter was transferred before the bench of the National Lok Adalat for final settlement. On this date, before the National Lok Adalat the matter is settled with a settlement amount of Rs. 16,50,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakh Fifty Thousand) only. The Petitioner paid Rs. 10,000/- on spot and the rest amount which is Rs. 16,40,000/- (Rupees Sixteen Lakh Forty Thousand) only will be paid within 31st December, 2025.
The Petitioner is very pleased for our effort and for the settlement.
